Fall in Connecticut

a bunch of us PA kids decided to do some fall festivities and we went apple picking and through a corn maze one fine saturday. it was a beautiful fall day!

here's mike and i at the big E which is a huge fair in springfield mass. you can get just about anything fried there (like pickles, oreos, green tomatoes etc) and it represents all the northeastern states or something...anyway it's a big deal around here and it was a super good time
here's michael's long-eared friend...some type of a goat or something,,,they also had sheep, ponies, alpacas, camels, a kangaroo, an elephant and other animal friends we visited with

difficult times

well.....i'm pooped....i work way too many hrs about 80 per week but i am enjoying surgery. however, the rest of my life is difficult and keeping everything in order and on track is draining. just pray for me....my personal growth and for God to guide my steps..... i have a lot on my plate and want to make good decisions. here's me in poland at my grandma's house...what a chubster

the ladies decided to take the bride out for a night of fun.....we went to a great dueling piano bar downtown and danced the night away!!! on the right is allison, mer's sister then heather and mer and courtney

here are some pics of mer and ben's rehearsal dinner. it was out side in the backyard of ben's parents house. i flew to chicago this last weekend to be in meredith's wedding. rehearsal was on fri sep 1st and the wedding was on sunday sep. 3rd. it was so fun to see everyone and share this special time.

here's some more pics of my trip to rhode island.....it's really the only fun thing i've done recently. my emergency medicine rotation is halfway over and i've really enjoyed it so far. i've done quite a bit of suturing people and i get to see a lot of cool stuff...cool to me at least :) mike comes back in 8 days!!!! how fun for me...can't wait to see him. my next rotation is surgery and i am really excited about that!
