caroline's day to day

well, i'm obviously in school for most of my life. i only have 2.5 months left of class and then we have a 2 week break in may and then i start my clinical year of rotations....crazy! right now i'm studying surgery, pediatrics, ob/gyn, psych, pharmacy and some other ethics type classes. i love surgery and am actually really enjoying ob/gyn as well. i also work in a cardiac ER on fridays so that's been really cool. i'm playing co-ed intramural bball and not much else going on besides that. we currently have no snow and the weather is 30-40ish. i miss friends and family a lot!!!!

christmas dinner at the smith's

A picture of Liz (Mike's and now my sister) and me, it was awesome to spend time with her!

We had a wonderful Christmas dinner. Grandma Smith and uncle Chris came over and a Chinese doctor named Hui from the VA hospital joined us. He's in the US doing research and his family is back in China. It was relly nice to be back home with family for the holidays.

Third picture, Phill and my uncle Zenek who is visiting my parents from Poland. He hasn't seen us since we were little kids. He's my dad's oldest brother.

In the first picture you can see Phill and his girlfriend Tomi on the right with her son DJ. On the left is my brother Michael and Krystal which is Tomi's daughter. In the center is Hampton Tomi's brother. It was a big Christmas but it was really wonderful to have everyone together. The other picture is of my cute parents who also celebrated their 28th Wedding Anniversary on Dec. 25th...yes, they got married on Christmas day. It's a Polish thing, we celebrate Christmas Eve.

Florida vs Florida State

What a glorious day it was when the Florida State Seminoles came into Gainesville and were blown out in the swamp 34-7. It sure was nice to be back in Gainesville and see all of our family and friends as well as watch the Gators play in the swamp.

the most ghetto-est gingerbread house there was

i have 4 more days of classes left and 4 more exams and 1 presentation left....then i have 5 weeks off from PA school... yey! mike is still looking for a career type job..meanwhile he is substituting and waiting tables. today was our first snow day in CT. we both finally got to spend some time together since we were all snowed in. we made a gingerbread house together and it looks so ghetto because we had nothing to decorate it with really. needless to say, we had a blast.
