so michael planned a whole day of surprises for us on our anniversary. the day started with flowers and a trip to starbucks in order to enjoy our favorite coffee drinks...yummy!
mikes fave: venti whole milk white chocolate mocha with whip
carolines fave: grande skinny toffe-nut misto no whip
we were supposed to enjoy these at a state park by the lake however it was a very rainy day so we"parked" and talked a bit 
how cute...they put our names on the cups! together as smiths for 5 whole years!
next........we headed off to our favorite breakfast place "the cracker barrel" we love breakfast!
our feast has arrived!!!!
next...we headed to the mall...another one of my favorite things to do.....and we saw a matinee movie and ate candy....we saw vantage point and really enjoyed it....good flick!
next came the biggest surprise..... a one hour couples massage at a local spa!!! it was so wonderful...and relaxing.

the next destination was a quick stop at the olive garden to pick up my favorite dessert....tiramisu!!!!! to go for later!!! then we rushed home and took showers and got ready for our fancy dinner.
it was a really nice place so we only took one picture but we had a fabulous dinner and enjoyed oysters and clams for appetizers. mike had steak and i had veal. delightful!!!we finished the night off at home with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne and our tiramisu.....of course. mike did such a good job planning the whole day....i felt so special!!!!
